I had my very first falafel when I was 11 years old in Jaffa. The year 1960. It was just from a street vendor, however I will always remember how different it was from Tel Aviv. I think of Jaffa alot after all the years and how peaceful and wonderful the people were. I would sit at the old port many hours and look out at the water and play with the local children even though we could barely communicate, somehow it worked out. I now live on the gulf of mexico in florida and think of your wonderful peaceful city.

I enjoy hummus very much.
